RightSource Mail-Order Pharmacy
Open to All Medicare Part D Members

order to better serve our members and providers, Humana is constructing
its own mail-order pharmacy, instead of continuing to use outside
vendors for all pharmacy needs. RightSource, the new in-house mail-order
pharmacy, will be housed in a state-of-the-art automated facility
that is currently under construction in Phoenix. Humana expects
this 117,000-square-foot flagship site to be fully operational by
the spring of 2006. The transition from outside vendors to Humana’s
RightSource will happen over the next few months for all members.
Humana recognized the immediate need to service its members and
providers with a mail-order pharmacy solution. With the new flagship
site already under construction, Humana opened a smaller, 1,200-square-foot
facility in January 2006. This site services all Medicare Prescription
Drug Plan (Part D) members. Licensed by the state of Arizona, it
is estimated that between 1.7 and 2.2 million Medicare Prescription
Drug Plan (Part D) members in the Humana family will make use of
this in-house solution for their prescription drug needs.
As a fully functional mail-order pharmacy, RightSource can deliver
prescriptions right to members’ doors. For network physicians
and providers, there is no difference between filling prescriptions
at RightSource or another pharmacy — they can just call or
fax in the prescription.
The goals of RightSource are to provide members and providers with
a convenient pharmacy solution, as well as excellent customer service.
Since both RightSource and Humana customer service representatives
have access to the patient’s entire benefit profile, Humana
members won’t have to waste time having calls transferred
from outside mail-order representatives.
Using RightSource can also mean a savings of both time and money
for members. RightSource customers will save approximately 33 percent
on overall copayments by using Humana’s mail-order service
instead of a retail pharmacy.

download RightSource prescription order forms by going to
www.humana.com and clicking on “Prescription Drugs”
under “I Want to Find a:” on the left side of the page.
Then, click on “Humana’s Medicare Drug List Search,”
and then “Information on Mail Order Prescriptions.”
Humana network physicians and providers can fax prescription orders
to (800)379-7617. The fax line is available 24 hours a day, seven
days a week.
